The fjord views from the terrace were amazing.

Check-in was disorganized, and the communication between staff was evidently lacking. For instance, when I inquired about dinner options, the staff seemed confused about the menu. Unfortunately, the breakfast was underwhelming, with burnt coffee and a lack of variety, which left me disappointed.

Beautiful building and rooms with balcony right on water. The very very nice and accommodating staff and their attitude.

The place was fairly clean with free parking and an extremely comfy bed. The breakfast was savoury and tasty with cheeses and attention to detail. The personnel was very very helpful and the rooms were spacious. Location: the hotel was very close to a restaurant in Voss on the final night, and the fjord in front of the venue's terrance.

I loved the amazing view from my Twin Room, but the door lock was finicky.

The amazing fjord view was a nice touch, but my room was shabby and not at all what I expected. The dinner situation was bizarre, with a poorly communicative staff and a restrictive menu. As a seasoned traveler, I expected a complimentary upgrade, but alas. I almost gave a good review, but I just couldn't.

Sipped on local cider while enjoying the fjord scenery. The room was quiet and spacious, but the overall decor felt a bit outdated. Renting kayaks on-site was a nice touch for exploring the area.

Absolutely loved kayaking right off the terrace and enjoying the breathtaking fjord view. The breakfast was pretty solid too. However, the area beneath our patio could use some cleaning.

The location right in front of the fjord was amazing, with a lovely view from our Twin Room. We enjoyed renting kayaks for some fun on the water, and finding Ulvik Church just a short walk away was a nice bonus. The breakfast left much to be desired. The scrambled eggs were burnt and we had issues with sour milk. I appreciate that breakfast was included in our stay, but it could definitely use some improvement.

I had the most fine view from my ground floor room with direct access to a private terrace! Waking up to the beautiful Hardangerfjord and stepping right out for a swim was an lovely experience. Kayaking on the fjord was such a nice highlight, and the staff were helpful throughout my stay.

This place was just an excellent fit for resting at all in Ulvik with best value for money ratio. Nice terrace in front of the room where I could sit and enjoy the lovely view over Hardangerfjorden was a big plus. Try to keep your dinner orders simple to avoid disappointment.

Couples seeking charm

I loved sipping on local cider out on the terrace while soaking in that very nice fjord view. The staff was super friendly, and having a person who spoke French at the front desk was just the cherry on top.

It wasn't exactly cheap,, but still worth it for the experience.

I had such a relaxing stay! The view from my room was amazing, and I enjoyed kayaking right off the terrace. The peaceful atmosphere made it so easy to unwind. The staff were super friendly and always available if I needed anything. Only thing was, breakfast options could've been a bit more varied.
